Kevin

Kevin has an Economics degree and a Master’s in Personal Financial Planning. His experience includes 8 years in Transportation and Logistics focused on Operations Management and Institutional Sales and he has over 26 years experience advising HNW and UHNW families and developing and implementing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management plans through Kumquat LLC. Kumquat Business Consulting was founded in 2013 to expand the scope of services offered to allow Unified Planning – the proven process to bridge the gap between personal/family and business planning in order to coordinate and align them to accomplish a business owners’ comprehensive goals.

He has extensive training and experience and holds the following certifications and charters:

Larry Stophel

Larry O. Stophel began his career as a staff accountant, income tax preparer and auditor before becoming a Partner at AM Pullen & Company. In 1980, he began his own firm (Larry Stophel and Associates, CPAs) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His firm offered clients services in auditing, financial statement preparation, income tax preparation, bookkeeping and business planning. He also has extensive business operational and financial experience, having been the controller and CFO of a $30,000,000 company. After selling his practice, he has focused on Kumquat Business Consulting, which was founded in 2013 to expand the scope of services of Kumquat LLC to allow Unified Planning – the proven process to bridge the gap between personal/family and business planning in order to coordinate and align them to accomplish a business owners’ comprehensive goals.

During his career he has developed deep expertise in business consulting, auditing, financial statement analysis and preparation, business strategy, tax strategy and contract reviews.
